Privacy policy

Current version — to be completed and approved by Falamoi’s legal department. The French version prevails.

Data collected

• Account: name, e-mail, phone, city, profile photo and description (optional).
• Listings: text, photos, price, location and the contact details you choose to display.
• Messaging: messages exchanged with other users through Falamoi.
• Technical data: IP address and connection logs, used for security (abuse prevention).

Use

• Providing the service: posting, search, connecting users, notifications.
• Security and moderation: fraud prevention, handling reports.
• Communication: e-mails related to your account (verification codes, messages received, status of your listings).

Your data is not sold. Your phone and WhatsApp numbers are only shown on the listings where you enter them.

Service providers

Hosting (Vercel), database (MongoDB), photo storage (Vercel Blob) and e-mail delivery (Resend), only as far as needed to run the service.

Your rights

You can edit your information from your profile, manage your e-mail preferences in the settings and delete your account at any time (your listings and photos are then erased). For any request: info@falamoi.com.

Cookies

Falamoi uses a session cookie needed for signing in, a cookie that remembers your chosen language and, when you arrive through a Sponsor programme member’s link, a referral tracking cookie kept for 12 months (used only to assign the commission and the welcome discount). Falamoi does not set any advertising cookies.
